Animation Garden
Animation Garden was established in 2016 to consolidate the IP of Award Winning Animator and company director Iain Gardner and create B2B Animation Services. The company has pitched it's projects at Cartoon 360 and Cartoon Forum, and has been invited to the Spring 2020 edition of MIPTV in Cannes as a 'Producer to Watch'
Their half hour film A Bear Named Wojtek is an international co-production with The Illuminated Film Company (Iain Harvey, Producer was Exec Prod on The Snowman) and Filmograf Poland and is in production – the voice talent includes Bill Patterson, Shauna MacDonald, Piotr Baumann and Tomasz Borkowy. The soundtrack will be created by renowned composer Normand Roger, with a crew including BAFTA Winning Animation Director Ross Hogg, BAFTA Winning Filmmaker Will Anderson and Art Director Rachel Bevan-Baker.
Mustard & Ketchup is an animated TV series in development which stars a couple of Gay Badgers and was a beneficiary of the BFI’s Young Audience Content Fund.
The badgers animated debut was in a music video for Scottish Indie Band LOOPER, which gained them a nomination for Best Animation at the Celtic Media Awards. Iain's earlier short film The Tannery won the Animation Grand Prix at the WorldWide Short Film Festival in Toronto, qualifying it for the Academy Awards that year.
