Robin Chalmers

Robin is a city trained lawyer from a corporate and commercial background with substantial international experience in general counsel and divisional counsel roles, particularly across media and technology. He has also fulfilled a number of executive and no-executive director roles.
Before joining All3Media, Robin was Controller of Corporate Legal, Regulatory, Trading and Governance at Channel 4. Prior to that he was at Fremantle as Group General Counsel and before that Director of Business and Legal Affairs at BBC Studios/Worldwide.
He has worked across diverse operations in Asia, Australia, Europe and Latin America and combines expertise in the media sector – working across production, distribution, channel networks, home entertainment, advertising sales and digital platforms – with strong experience in corporate transactional activity such as M&A and joint ventures.
Robin has a Law Degree from Aberdeen University, a Diploma in Legal Practice from Edinburgh University and an MSc in Media Management from Stirling University.
