Pure Leo

Pure Leo is a brand new indie working with unique Scottish voices to bring you the latest in Scottish comedy with a view to producing short form and digital comedy for broadcasters, as well securing and producing short, funded, development pilots. Pitching begun in April and at present they have one project going into funded development at BBC Scotland.

The company also aims to be a supportive development platform for new and diverse talent coming through Scotland. Current focus is on development and pilots for the next year, with a view to progressing to full sitcoms and comedy entertainment. Pure Leo aims to become a sustainable and profitable company that can maintain a core team of staff, is looking to secure industry investment between 3-5 years of trading and to operate UK-wide with broadcasters and SVODS.

They are looking for support with financing, particularly co production deals, monetising company IP, understanding tax credits, and accounting. Also to build business strategy and strategic thinking, and make the company investor-ready.
