John is founder and director of Considered Thinking Ltd. He uniquely combines relevant and comprehensive experience in the film, creative and tech industries, together with being a qualified coach, coach supervisor and action learning facilitator. John seeks to enable individuals and organisations realise their vision by encouraging different thinking and motivation, through a structured, personalised and challenging approach.
With several years coaching experience, John has already helped hundreds of individual clients achieve their ambitions and dreams. Furthermore, John has successfully delivered on many industry programmes for organisations such as BAFTA, Creative England, Cultural Enterprise Office, Film Distributors Association, Film Hub, Help Musicians, Inside Pictures, Mindful Talent and TRC.
John has worked in international business development and management for over 30 years, with significant experience across many sectors and environments, including multinational corporate, SME, education, voluntary, charity, public sector and health. He is a vibrant futurist, who has a passion for self-improvement and developing other people, with a proven track record of nurturing, developing and reinvigorating talent.
John co-founded Park Circus Limited in 2003 and was instrumental in successfully building the company from part-time start-up to the leading worldwide distributor of classic and back catalogue films. The company was successfully sold to Arts Alliance in 2014, with John playing a key, enabling role in the pre-sale negotiations. Before entering the film industry, John worked for over a decade for the US electronics giant, Motorola, where he held a number of senior international management positions.
