Sammy Nourmand

Prior to launching Plan 9 Consultancy, Sammy successfully held a variety of management roles in the Independent Television & Distribution industry. These have included Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial & Operations Officer and Chief Corporate Development Officer positions, and his experience ranges from senior roles at international production groups and Board positions at an AIM listed PLC through to running SME’s.

Sammy has a particularly deep understanding of Global Production and Distribution, and has been instrumental in building successful operations in the UK, the US and Western Europe. He brings significant commercial acumen with international appreciation to both Scripted & Non Scripted production companies.

His career has included setting up Joint Ventures and International Co Production partnerships and collaborations, the launch of production and distribution operations and a consistent track record of delivering stability and growth. Sammy also has extensive knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions in the Television sector with experience in both sale and acquisition of companies.

Away from work, Sammy can be heard mumbling Bob Dylan lyrics, enthusiastically playing cricket and golf very badly. He lives in London with his wife, three children and cockapoo, Ralph. His other interests include watches, movie posters, test cricket and football.
